The colors are some of the prettiest I've seen and the floral wreath is suspended above a lovely Edwardian influenced design. My photos are quite precise and show exactly what you should expect. The stark and bright white background is comprised of small round glass beads. The pattern, which is the same on both sides, consists of cut and faceted glass beads as well as round, in the most gorgeous tones of plum, radiant pink lavender, deep ruby red, multi greens and chocolate browns. Above the wreath is an arch of florals with the sides flanked in ruby red rosettes. The bottom has a splendid pattern influenced by the Edwardian era.
The silver toned frame has a sweet embossed design, as shown, and is signed Germany on the exterior side. The frame is bright, relatively polished and appears a little nicer in person. Finishing this handbag is a lovely 2 inch row of fringes, all intact and complete.
The interior has it's original off white satin type lining. It looks fine in the photo but there is a small section down, inside the bag, on one side, that has worn away. I will be happy to replace the lining for you at no additional charge. I can try to match the color to the original, as best as can but I think a color like one in the pattern would be wonderful. If you want a silk replacement, you can choose your preferred color. The measurements of this gorgeous German purse are 11 & 1/2 from the clasp to the bottom of the fringe, 7 across the hinges and the simple chain handle drops 7 & 1/2 inches. This antique beaded purse is in awesome condition, save the lining. It is exceptionally clean, spotless in fact with no bead loss, repairs or regrets. I know you will adore this purse so why not consider adding it to your treasured accessories.
