I believe my photos show this purse very well but you can expect the cut and faceted jet black glass beads to glitter much more than they do in my photos. Everyone will notice you when you carry this beauty. The purse is completely covered in tiny black beads and the front of the purse is accentuated with a fabulous array of Tambour multi blue and white flowers executed in the Point de Beauvais stitch. I must say what an exceptionally exquisite looking purse this is. It has been professionally cleaned for you, carries only the scent of freshness and is in near pristine condition, no bead loss, no stain or discolor, no snagged threads, no repairs. The bright gold tone frame is straight and right, it opens and closes as it should with a lift to open marcasite and aqua blue stone jeweled clasp. The purse is securely attached to the frame at all points and the frame is structurally sound, as is the entire purse, absolutely gorgeous. There is a black band of what appears to be black enameling that spans the top of the purse, both front and back sides. The condition of this black enameling is perfect, I don't even see a scratch. So why isn't this purse pristine, because the aqua stone in the clasp has a hairline. This stone is securely prong set in place, front and rear, and will not come dislodge from it's setting without the assistance of a jeweler. The hairline is tight and will go easily unnoticed. If you can forgive this little flaw, you will enjoy one of the prettiest French evening bags I have acquired and the only one with blue flowers on black. As you can see, all of the marcasites are in place and the remainder of the purse is perfect. The interior black satin lining comes with dual pockets and a coin purse. One pocket is stamped by it's designer, Cerny of Paris. The fully beaded handle rounds out this handbag with elegance. Stuffed with tissue, this purse measures 5 inches in height by 8½ in width and the interior has ample room. I know the next owner of this vintage treasure will be most pleased, there simply is no other purse exactly like it, consider ordering it while you can.
