This 1920 Mandalian mesh purse has a breathtaking pattern exhibiting the Art Nouveau era with just the right touch of Art Deco. The strong mint green background shade is decorated with bright gold, dark cobalt blue and deep evergreen. The enameling is stunning on both sides showing wee if any wear, you will likely need a magnifier to find any flaw. The mesh is secure at all points, to the frame and at the hinges. This purse is unlined, I find no separations or weaknesses, just a nearly pristine work of art. The silver tone frame has a nice angled cathedral shape along with a lovely embossed design. It is bright and clean with a signed interior. The deep V-shaped bottom is skirted with a lush and dense mesh linked fringe. All strands are present with only a very few tiny bottom links amiss, truly barely noticeable. This is a rather generously sized mesh handbag measuring 8 & 3/4 in total length by 4 & 1/2 across the widest section of the frame and the chain handle drops 5 & 1/2 inches. This vintage Mandalian mesh purse is very impressive not only in appearance but in condition as well. This one is most deserving of your consideration. Item 7-818 D Sold, Thank you! Make an Offer
