The enameled paint is presented in a classic Whiting & Davis pattern, certainly well recognized. I must tell you, though, it's been at least a few years since I acquired one in this pattern with a cathedral shaped frame and what a great treat that it happens to be an Elsah. You will find that this purse is structurally perfect, in fact, the entire purse is nearly pristine. It is well attached to the frame at all points, there are no gaps at the hinges, all mesh tiles are intact and connected and there is minimally, little paint wear, apparent on only a few tiles. 
 The silver toned frame is no doubt a very desired style with a sweet embossed design and two ball closures that snap closed as they should. The interior is marked, as shown, and the little hanging Whiting & Davis metal tag is in place as well. The frame is clean and bright with a little minor patina at the closure, nothing naughty though. The bottom of the purse is finished with a six point Van Dyke fringe, a lovely skirt for this handbag. This wonderful vintage 1920's purse measures at bit over 7 in length by 3 & 1/2 at the skirt and the chain link handle drops 4 & 3/4 inches. I do believe that you will be quite pleased with this treasure and what a thoughtful gift it would make for that special someone.
