The abstract pattern is a sight to behold, with it's bright and bold color tones of blue, yellow, orange and black on, what might be considered, a skin toned background color, although the pattern is so busy, I'm not really sure there is a background color. My photos are excellent and express the true personality of this enameled creation. This purse is an superb choice for the collector that wants a structurally perfect purse, no link loss, no detachments or separations, no gaps or issues at the hinges, perfect frame, sound clasp, little if any paint loss and a design that is both eye catching and vivid. 
In additional, the buyer will be thrilled that the silver toned frame is shining and enameled in black, both sides of the frame and purse are identical. The frame has no loss of paint, not even a tiny bit nor is the paint scratched that I have seen. The bottom of this purse is finished with an eight point Van Dyke fringe, all in perfect condition, secure and intact. The frame is quite wonderful, very clean, it is so apparent to me that this Whiting & Davis mesh purse has been tucked away for a long time, well cared for and preserved. 
The interior carries the Whiting & Davis Company impressed logo and it is unlined. Another fabulous treat is the inclusion of all the original paperwork and tags, as shown, which were discovered inside the bottom of the purse, how much better can it get. The purse measures a larger than normal 7¼ inches from the top of the clasp to the bottom of the fringe by 5½ inches across the fringe and the shiny chain link handle drops the purse by at least 5 inches. Please consider adding this significant Whiting & Davis mesh purse to your collection, it's a fabulous vintage purse from the 1920 era and the condition is all that the pickier buyer would want, it's a winner and I love it.
