The array of extensive florals covers the greater portion of the bag with the background tone being an antiqued ivory beige. This purse has been used and loved, it does has an overall vintage look but it suffers no damages, missing stitches, snags, pulls or other structural problems. I have professionally washed this purse for you so it carries only a scent of freshness and will not get any cleaner than it is currently. There are some remains of stains that are scattered about the purse but they are not popping out at you and actually blend rather nicely with the look of the purse. I have taken photos of all sides of this purse, so you can examine it closely and see any flaws in the coloring. I think you will discover that this purse is still in very nice usable condition.
The gold tone frame is further decorated with coordinated petit point as is the side and bottom outer band, illustrating a beautiful assortment of roses. The metal on this purse is in very nice vintage condition, with a little wearing to the kissing clasp, from normal use. The frame opens and closes at it should and the purse is securely stitched to the frame at all points. There are no weaknesses in the petit point and the purse has a medium firm hand but not too stiff.
I had plenty of trouble getting my camera to focus on the interior, I finally gave it up but the lining is in very good condition, very clean with 2 pockets and the ivory beige satin has a nice sheen. Stuffed with tissue, this little cutie measures 5½ in total height by 6½ in width, it has a ¾ inch side depth and the rather chunky chain handle drops 7½ inches. Now I have no reason to believe that the chain is not original except that it seems a bit too large for the purse. If you desired something more delicate, I do have some vintage chains and I could see if I had anything appropriate, just ask, otherwise I will leave this one as it could very well be the original. This vibrant floral micro petit point purse is full of life and ready to be carried and used for another 80 years.
