My photos are quite precise as to what you should expect and the colors are not exaggerated, they are crisp and alive but not too stark at all, this purse is simply stunning. I'm showing you lots of photos so you can see how really gorgeous it is with all of the intricate detailing to the scene. The foremost view exhibits a grouping of woman with two elusive cherubs flying above their heads. There are more figures in the background, as well as a lake and an abundance of nature, both sides of this purse are identical. The outer floral and fruit border frames the scene and the bottom is finished with a lion's head crest. 
 The gold tone frame is a special treat with inlaid mother-of-pearl inserts that are set between silver toned bands which are enhanced with marcasites. Everything looks fabulous and intact, glowing and sparkling with life. The frame and clasp are in solid working order, opening and closing as it should, I detect no problems nor any significant signs of wear or aging. The sides and bottom of this purse are especially nice with a marvelous petit point banded border, all in super condition. There are no labels on this purse but there is no disputing it's French or Austrian origins, as only the finest petit points came from these regions and this purse is very fine. 
 The clean interior is lined in a deep peachy gold satin and has two pockets for your accessories. This purse is very clean with only one small discolor on the backside. You can see in in the last photo just above the mountains, in the cloud, however, it is a little fainter than what is showing in the photo. I almost didn't see it because there is the exact same thread color used just below it, so it blends perfectly and looks like part of the workmanship. It certainly is not offensive in my opinion, it is quite small and should not distract you from considering this exquisite purse. Otherwise, this vintage micro petit point handbag is in totally divine condition with some of the nicest coloring I have seen. Overall, it measures, stuffed with tissue, 5¾ in height by 8¾ in bottom width, the sides are ¾ in depth and the chain handle drops 5 inches. This purse has wonderful size, great color and will be a treasured prize amongst your treasury of petit point handbags.
