The color palette is warm and appealing having a full spectrum of every hue, to include, lavender, purple, blues, greens, browns, coral, amber, and several more radiant shades. The background is ivory and it has taken on a soft vintage tone, particularly around all the outer edges. My photos are showing you what to expect from this handbag and how lovely it is with the greater portion of the bag having a well executed floral display. This petit point is hand made with those hard to count tiny micro stitches. This purse was loved and used but it was also well cared for. It's previous owner was thoughtful to keep it out of direct sunlight, as there is no fading of the colors. This purse is clean and has a supple fluid hand, very easy to love. The frame and the workmanship is the same on each side of the purse. The outer perimeter of the purse has a ¾ inch band of floral micro petit point, connecting the front and back sides. The gold tone frame is fabulously enhanced with bands of micro petit point and mother-of-pearl shell. The kissing clasp is tipped with pearl cabs and all structural elements of this handbag are in proper working order. All of the fabrics are well secured to the frame and nothing will be letting loose anytime soon. The interior is lined in a light ivory satin and although it has small signs of usage, it is stain free and suffers no significant wear or tear. The four interior pockets are a quality characteristic of the Italian made petit point purses and they offer plenty of spaces for tucking away your accessories. One of the pockets is labeled, made in Italy, and comes with a coordinating "unused" floral micro petit point ladies powder compact, how lovely. This delightful creation measures, stuffed with tissue, 6¾ in total height by 8¼ across the bottom and the chain handle drops 7 inches. This very attractive floral petit point evening bag will carry your essentials for the perfect evening out. It's looking for a new home and someone to love it.
