The color palette on this purse is quite crisp, warm and appealing having a full spectrum of every hue, to include, lavender, purple, blues, greens, browns, coral, amber, and several more radiant shades. The lavender roses, known as sterling roses, are especially pleasing and add a special touch to this purse. The background is an antiqued off white that has taken on a bit of a vintage look. My photos are showing you what to expect from this handbag and how lovely it is with the greater portion of the entire bag having a well executed floral display. My photos are also showing small age discolorations and a tiny spot on the backside of the purse, shown in the last photo. This petit point is made with those hard to count tiny micro stitches, about 35 to the inch. The outer edge of this purse is done in jet black petit point and that really pops the floral pattern.  
This purse was loved and used but it was also well cared for and I have thoroughly cleaned this purse for you, it now carries only a scent of freshness. It's previous owner was thoughtful to keep it out of direct sunlight, as there is no fading of the colors. This purse is clean and has a medium hand, not overly stiff, very easy to love. The bright golden frame has a lovely sculpted ribbon style upper attached band, it has an intricate fancy design, as shown above. The kissing clasp and all structural elements of the frame are in proper working order. The purse and lining are well attached to the frame and overall, the metal and the purse are in very nice vintage condition, having no serious flaws or negatives.   The outer petit point border has a depth of ¾ of an inch and has the perfect coordinated sweet little flowers. The lovely original interior black lining, with a single pocket, is in gently used condition but has no tears or wears that I have found. There is no label in this purse but is looks to have quality petit point and a very interesting and unique frame. This delightful creation measures, stuffed with tissue, 6¼ in total height by 7½ across the bottom and the slinky style chain handle drops 5½ inches. This very attractive 1950 floral micro petit point evening bag, with make-up mirror, will carry only your absolute essentials for the perfect evening out. It's looking for a new home and someone to love it.
