The rhinestones are a combination of heavily faceted clear stones and flat backed diamontes that look like silvery white diamonds. They are arranged in a diamond pattern that is reminiscent of the Art Deco era. The pattern is somewhat subtle and a bit difficult to capture amongst all the glitter but is well recognized in person. If you look at the close-ups, you will see it better. There are over 1500 stones and every one is accounted for and prong set. It's absolutely breathtaking in any type of lighting. The gold tone frame is perfect with a nice brushed finish. The snake style chain handle drops the purse by over 6 inches. The interior satin lining is a pale yellow that would not show in the photos. It is well attached at all points, has a labeled pocket and is spotless. This purse shows no sign of usage, it's pristine and I feel comfortable saying it was never carried. Another wonderful feature is the unusual size, very generous for a rhinestone handbag, measuring stuffed with tissue 6 in height by 8 & 1/4 in width by 2 inches in depth. Lots of room in this bag for all your essentials. This is a fabulous vintage German Walborg evening handbag that would delight any woman, it's incredible and I know you will love it. Let me know and I'll put it aside for you.
