Bright and Sassy Vintage 1950 Walborg Rhinestone Handbag

The rhinestones are individually prong set onto a heavy mesh background which give this purse a medium firm hand but not too stiff, just right for supporting your accessories. These multi faceted stones are bright and sparkly, for the most part very clear, with perhaps a few showing very minor darkening but nothing that really stands out. It's actually hard to find these purses in this great condition, well kept, cared for and minimally used. Unfortunately, my photos truly don't do this purse justice, you can expect this purse to look much better in person. I have taken these photos in daylight, without flash, sadly the purse won't show you how it really glistens as this purse moves about the room. In the evening light, this glamorous purse twinkles with an intense glimmer. It's absolutely stunning in any type of lighting, no disappointments here.

The more elusive silver toned frame has a brushed finish and is layered with two rows of set rhinestones which span the top and sides, surrounding the entire purse. There is also an embellished pull back to open clasp that is in the form of a flower. There were a couple of rhinestones missing from the frame when I acquired the purse but I replaced them for you with matching stones. The frame and slinky style carry chain handle look as new with barely any signs of age whatsoever. Basically, this purse looks like it was hardly used, if ever. It is clean all over and the metal suffers no dulling or aging. The interior is almost spotless, it has a pocketed ivory satin lining with it's Walborg, West Germany designer label and a matching satin change purse. 

All elements of this purse are well attached to the frame. Stuffed with tissue, it measures 5 inches in total height by 6 inches across the bottom, the sides span out by 1¼ inches and the handle drops 5 inches. This lovely vintage treasure will serve your needs well for your special evening out but will only carry your true essentials. This is a fabulous vintage Walborg rhinestone handbag that would delight any woman, it's incredible and I believe you will love it.  The condition is splendid, it's a dazzling star, fit for a queen.
