Splendid German Rhinestone Handbag by Designer Carmen

The rhinestones are luminous foil backed glass diamantes that are heavily faceted for optimum glitter. They are positioned very closely together and every one of the over 1500 stones is intact, brilliant and shining. They are all claw set into golden prongs, each being very secure. I have taken photos in different lighting but without flash. First photo taken in a little sunshine, the others with a little light. In some of the photos, depending on the lighting, the stones look like they have a yellowy cast, perhaps color is reflecting off the golden prongs. In the evening light, this glamorous purse twinkles ,with a rainbow of colors, as it moves about the room.  It's absolutely gorgeous in any type of lighting, no disappointments here.

The extra bright gold tone frame is exceptionally pretty, nicer than most. The frame is heavily sculpted with small scallops of metal detail and the closure is a pull back to open pierced filigree ball.  The multi chain link handle is more than adequate to support this purse and it drops the bag by over 6 inches. The interior satin lining is yellow is in very fine vintage condition and showing well in the photo. The lining is in generally clean condition with little signs of usage, it is well attached at all points and has a labeled pocket. Stuffed with tissue this rhinestone evening purse measures 5 in height by 6½ width and has about an 1 inch in depth. This lovely vintage treasure will serve your needs well for your special evening out.
