For I will not see you now by the way: but I
trust to tarry awhile with you, if the Lord permits.
1Corinthians 16:7
If the Lord permits, by C.
Dubilo
To my daughter, Tara It is not our place to
question why,
Nor pout, nor scream, nor even cry,
But deeply love from distant shores,
As we sail through our daily chores.
Forever more our love will live,
Each day, each week, each year we'll give,
One to another as God allows
The Son to shine on forward bows. For
neither storm nor trembling quake,
Could ever cause our love to shake,
We only see that shining star
That draws our vessels from afar. Our
sister ships are sailing high,
Their masts are pointed toward the sky,
The Wind will guide our sea bound fort,
Until that day our ships reach port. As anchors soon prepare to dock,
We know God's time must be our clock,
His guiding hands will bring to pass,
Our sailing ships to cross, alas.
I miss you, I love you, Mom
