The outer edge of the tray has a lot of style and design, sculpted with swirls and ruffles, with the outer rim highlighted in gold gilt. The hand painted artwork is very attractive with multi colored roses in pink, burgundies and yellow. There are plenty of delicate shadings and green leafy additions as well as blues and browns. This is a heavily decorated tray, with the paint covering the greater portion of the surface. This tray has a snowy white background and will blend splendidly with your other hand painted roses. The artwork is intact and the gold gilt shows very little if any wear. My photos are true and detail the tray beautifully.  
The backside carries the well known Guérin mark which distinguishes it's age at 1901+. This tray is in excellent, damage free condition, no crack, chip or other flaw that I have found. The last two photos are shown with antique porcelain backed hand mirrors (available in our hand mirror category), showing you how lovely it will match up with other vanity accessories. Besides it's unique shape, this treasure also offers good size, measuring 12 in length by 9¼ at the widest with the outer edge raising up about ½ inch.
