I am going to show you lots of photos so you can see for yourself the workmanship and skill it took to hand crochet this lovely table cover. It will arrive in what I call soft white tones, not stark white but definitely white, perhaps antique white. The outer scalloped border is no doubt a sensational work of art and is presented in a wide approximate 11+ inches of depth. The details are endless and the overall look is fantastic, a true beauty for your favorite accent table, whether bedroom, dining or living room, it will add a sense of Victorian character and elegance to any setting.
As you can see, there are several places with additional raised crochet work, in a leaf design, much like appliqués. I have looked the border over well, I do not see any wear, tear or staining, perhaps a little extra thread here or there but no damages that I have detected. The full size measures 42 inches across. The center solid area feels like a cotton, cotton/ linen blend and varies between 19 and 24 inches in diameter. In the center white area I see two very small faint spots that do not detract in the least. I have not tried to clean this piece and it carries a fresh scent. It has been stored away for many decades, properly kept and cared for. I do believe the next owner of this wonderful vintage table round will delight in it's grandeur.
