My photos are showing a good depiction of both the details and the color tones, especially the close-ups. Each end of the runner is wonderfully embroidered with a central floral theme, flanked by gorgeous dual butterflies. The outer edge is crocheted with a border that has a small eyelet at every inch. The overall condition is quite fine, aside from an occasional weakened or missing thread, this vintage linen accessory is in very good shape for it's age. This runner has been in storage for many decades and although I see no significant discolorations, only one barely visible faint discolor and I do mean faint, I believe it would benefit from a light washing or rinsing, by hand of course. This creatively designed runner or scarf would look great on your dresser, table or buffet and it measures a generous 43 & 1/2 in length by 13 inches in width. Butterflies are a fabulous choice for decorating, let me know and I'll put it aside for you.
