The linen is of good quality and comes in a color of a beige ecru. All of the cut out details are hand embroidered in a bright ivory or soft off white threading offering good contrast to the linen. The floral designs are showing well in my photos as well as the fleur de les style accents on the side edges. The entire outer border has a wonderful scalloped shape, adding a touch of sweet elegance. This beautiful runner measures generously in length by 50 & 1/2 inches with a width of 15 & 1/2. This vintage table or dresser accessory has been packed away for many years, just recently unwrapped. It has been very well kept and cared for and shows no wear or signs of usage, no stains or problems. I am hoping you have a special place for it so you may start enjoying it.
